Responsible for total system development and system parameters of the BookPlus integrated library system.

Responsible for all daily server maintenance (IBM AS/400 server):

Daily & weekly system backups

Installation of hardware & software (AS/400, Novell Server, PC’s and Printers)

Maintain and resolve network problems ISDN (Diginet lines)

Responsible for the training of staff relating to the integrated library system and general computer operations.

Researching new developments in computerized library systems and information technology.

Responsible for total system development and system parameters of the SirsiDynix: Unicorn WorkFlows.

Responsible for system maintenance and the handling of hardware and software problems with support of ICT department.

Responsible for the training ±300 people (frontline staff and managers) relating to computer related operations and integrated library management.

Responsible for libraries Intranet web pages (was editor and publisher) this was discontinued and centralized to ICT department end 2007.
